Hey, my name is Mary, and I’m glad you’re here!
This blog has a little of everything. We’re Dutch (well, some of us), so we have to talk about that, cause, Dutch pride…
We really enjoy kids, which is a good thing, since my husband Michael is a youth pastor, and I stay home and teach our seven children all day! (Well, one is graduated, so now I teach 6 children.) For several years, all 9 of us have lived in 1,400 sq ft fairly easily, so I’ve written a bit about simplicity as well. I really love teaching our children using the Charlotte Mason method. To hear more about that, you can go over to my other blog, Eventideblog.com
Whatever you read here at Dutch Rush, I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by!
“And we saw our calling, how we were truly of no account, that no flesh should glory in His presence. Nothing anyone thought of us could reach lower down than that, no one could ever count us less than we were.
But he that is down need fear no fall, he that is down cannot get between God and His glory.
And we knew then that there was nothing He could not do through us if only we were nothing.”
